If gaining experience points is taking too long then you can level-up your Spidermen by buying IOS-8 currency. You use a particular Spiderman for each level and as you use them they gain experience and level-up to gain new abilities. Each one has a certain objective to be completed which is usually to run through a maze of hurdles before you can get to the cross-dimensional bad-guy at the end and take him down.
They’ve given Spiderman a dimensional portal of their own which allows Spidey to call in different versions of himself to come in and help him. This is usually the kind of thing that Thor would take care of but he’s on holiday so Nick Fury and SHIELD have asked Spiderman to help them fight off the invaders. They are led by the Sinister Six who aim to turn this reality into their own play-pen.
